Carmen, 25, a cultured young woman passing through Bordeaux after a break-up, has an unexpected encounter with Gédéon, an 18-year-old boy of Haitian origin from a working-class neighbourhood, solitary and dreamy. As the day goes by, a relationship forms between them, mixing desire and mistrust, guilt and curiosity, the warding-off of loneliness and power games.
