Synopsis
Jeju Island, South Korea. Wan-soon, 84, lost her family in the 4.3 massacres of 1948. Today, her fight for the truth runs up against a growing revisionism that heightens tensions around national reconciliation. Trained as an illustrator, I joined her to put into images her memories of a tragedy of which no archive exists.
